An exciting and interdisciplinary scientific programme is being currently delineated by the scientific committee considering also the proposals of the members who participated at an earlier EA4HP survey. The programme will offer a well-balanced mixture of scientific and practical issues of the topics to be covered. The general outline of the meeting will follow the traditional format starting with the educational session, followed by the Bone Marrow and Lymphoma symposia and workshops. The scientific programme will encompass also “Meet the Professor” sessions, satellite symposia, poster presentations and discussion. The faculty will include internationally renowned speakers that will address the most recent issues and controversies in the field of hematopathology. Berlin, the capital and largest city of Germany is renowned for its exceptional range of historic landmarks, vibrant cultural scene and its unique atmosphere where history and future collide. It is one of the few cities that is home to three UNESCO World Heritage sites, the only city in the world to host three opera houses and can boast of more museums than the number of rainy days. The local organizing committee is working hard to provide an exciting social programme that will introduce you to some of what Berlin has to offer.
