The 12th Annual Meeting of the Cytokine and Interferon Society (ICIS) 2024 will be held in Seoul from 20-23 October 2024. The International Cytokine and Interferon Society (ICIS) is a non-profit organisation of more than 1,050 scientists dedicated to the study of cytokines, interferons and chemokines in the fields of cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry and clinical applications of these biological response modifiers. Bringing together scientists from many different research disciplines, ICIS is the premier organisation advancing the field of cytokine biology, impacting all aspects of medicine and leading to new treatments for autoimmune diseases, cancer, infectious diseases and inflammation. Scientists interested in all aspects of cytokine biology can join and work together to improve the common ground of human health. The International Cytokine Society (CS) was founded in 1988 and consists of individuals with research, clinical or educational experience in the field of cytokines or related disciplines. The primary purpose of the Society is to promote original research in the field of cytokines, growth factors and receptors and to facilitate communication and interaction among scientists with the aim of integrating current basic and clinical knowledge and concepts in cytokine research in a multidisciplinary manner. After many years of joint meetings with the International Society for Interferon and Cytokine Research (ISICR), ICS merged with ISICR in 2013 to become the International Cytokine and Interferon Society (ICIS).
