The 129th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Ophthalmology (J0S) 2025 will be held from April 17 to 20, 2022, in Tokyo, Japan.The Japanese Society of Ophthalmology, J0S, was founded in 1897 and is a society with a long tradition. It aims to promote research in ophthalmic science and advancement of knowledge in ophthalmology. With 15,000 members, including ophthalmologists and researchers, the Society Japan Society of Ophthalmology J0S's primary goal is to ensure a high level of clinical ophthalmology in Japan, and thus the health of the people. To this end, it is vital to establish an appropriate certification system for specialists and to promote top-level training for experts in the field. At the same time, it is the society's responsibility to establish a standard set of ground rules to support and guide the ophthalmic profession.
